Ever since I graduated from college (after majoring in something else) I knew I wanted to do something with kids. Well, my life has gone in several directions since then. But finally, after 8 years of "searching" for my place, my dream, that has been 5 years in the making, is coming true. I have my very own classroom and soon my very own students! for anyone who does not teach you are probably thinking this girl is crazy to be that excited! But if you do teach or have taught you know what I mean. There is something really rewarding to know that you have your own space. After subbing for a year it is a long overdue reward!
I have been planning this classroom for years so it should come as no surprise that it is a reflection of me, probably a good thing since I will be spending the next nine months in there! Enjoy a few pictures and I will keep you updated on my first year...
